South West Healthcare To Appoint First-Ever Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse
South West Healthcare will be able to appoint their first ever prostate cancer specialist nurse, thanks to a $370,000 grant.
It comes as the Australian Government expands the Prostate Cancer Nurses Program, delivered by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
"We’re thrilled that we’ve been able to successfully advocate for the needs of our local communities by securing a $370,000 grant to appoint our first-ever prostate cancer specialist nurse" said South West Healthcare's Nurse Consultant Coordinator Andrea Janes.
"This funding has come via the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia’s expanded Prostate Cancer Specialist Nursing Service"
