South Warrnambool senior coach calls it quits
South Warrnambool senior football coach Matt Buck has announced he will not coach next year.
After 3 years with the roosters, Matt says he is stepping down because of family commitments.
In a statement to the players Matt said it was not a decision he made lightly as he has loved every minute of coaching the senior side.
Club President Steve Harris says Matt has been a great leader and mentor at the club and they can't thank him enough for his commitment.
In Buck’s three years at the club he has led the roosters to two finals series in 2017 and 2018.
The club will now turn it's focus to the remaining teams that are in the 2018 finals series and then will begin a search for a new senior coach to lead the club in 2019.
South Warrnambool still has two football and three netball teams participating in the finals.
