Camping and overnight activities are still not permitted and the rule of maintaining a distance of 1.5 metres between people still exists.

Gatherings of up to 10 people are now permitted in outdoor spaces. If visiting a park or a forest, bring your own hand sanitiser and be mindful of others.

The Conservation Regulator is strongly supporting Victoria Police, reporting any physical distancing breaches.

Chief Conservation Regulator Kate Gavens says she wants to make sure people are doing the right thing.

“Thank you to everyone who is doing the right thing and remember, the message remains the same: if you can stay at home, you must stay at home.”
