The Warrnambool Golf Club has announced the appointment of PGA Member Trent Wieland to the role of Head Golf Professional.

The club is set to welcome Trent to the role in early May, who comes to the club from Toukley Golf Club on New South Wale’s Central Coast.

As a certified PGA Head Professional, he brings more than 20 years’ experience in the industry across a range of specialist areas including golf operations, tuition, specialist product knowledge, fitting and repairs, retail sales and golf development.

Club President, Paul Blain, says it’s an exciting time for the club as we welcome Trent to Warrnambool.

“The club is fortunate to have had significant interest in this position and Trent was a stand-out amongst the applicants. Not only does he have strong experience and knowledge as a Golf Professional, but his passion for golf development and the latest product technology and performance will be of great benefit to our members and the club.” said Mr Blain.
