Moyne Shire Mayor, Councillor Mick Wolfe said Council were responding to feedback received from members of the Hawkesdale, Macarthur and Mortlake
“We have heard a number of reasons as to why residents want the opening hours changed, including being more accessible for full-time workers and
business owners,” Councillor Wolfe said.
“At Mortlake, we’re proposing moving the current opening times ahead by one hour, and at Hawkesdale, moving the weekly opening time from Saturday
mornings to Sunday afternoons.
“At Macarthur the proposed change would see the facility no longer open for two hours on Mondays and Saturdays and instead it would be open for three
hours each Sunday.
