Funding flows for roads in South West
New road safety upgrades and improvements will be delivered in Wannon thanks to funding from the Australian and Victorian governments.
Member for Wannon, Dan Tehan said the timing couldn’t be better for funding to flow for crucial road safety improvements in the electorate.
“This vital funding is not only providing a much-needed boost to local jobs and the economy, it is delivering life-saving upgrades to ensure road users stay safe on our roads,” Mr Tehan said.
“I am pleased to see over $39.6 million will be shared across Wannon to fund road new safety upgrades and improvements to help reduce the number of fatalities and serious injuries occurring on our roads"
A list of the works to be undertaken can be seen below, with the projects expected to be complete by mid year.
