Warrnambool's Premier Speedway Club intends to conduct the 49th running of the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic in January 2022, after having been forced to postpone the event due to the impact of COVID-19 in 2021.

The Club’s Board and Management will continue to monitor the COVID situation throughout the remainder of the Premier Speedway Club’s current season and into the off-season.

A general loosening of restrictions with regards to crowd numbers and travel, will play a key part in the viability of holding an event of the Classic’s size and magnitude.

Premier Speedway remains hopeful that all facets of the Classic will be able to return in January 2022 with key elements of the weekend including the Classic Breakfast and the Fan Appreciation Day earmarked for return.

The Club has announced the dates out of fairness to visiting race teams and fans who converge on Premier Speedway each-and-every year for the Classic festivities, so that those wishing to attend can plan ahead.

Patrons have been advised that ticket sales will not commence until late October to coincide with the start of the 2021-22 season and to allow for confirmation that the Classic can proceed unimpeded.

Friday January 21, 2022 – South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Night One.

Saturday January 22, 2022 – South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Night Two.

Sunday January 23, 2022 – South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Night Three.
