AFLWD Resilience Session

Football Community Invited To Tune In To Free Session

AFL Western District have invited all clubs, players, umpires and sponsors to make use of a free session this evening, presented by the renound Resilience Project.

Commercial and Operaions manager Matthew Ross, says the project has worked with many elite athletes, including now three time Norm Smith Medalist Dustin Martin.

"What we're sort of putting on offer is for pretty much anyone involved with a footy club, or an umpire or a sponsor, the chance to hear from the Resilience Project for free" he said.

"It's a great program, it was ran in the Goulbourn Valley League this year in the same format, and I saw that and thought that's wonderful, I think we can do something like that here".

The session which has been made possible with support from the Midfield Group, will take place this evening (Monday October 26) from 7pm.

The Resilience Project has helped thousands of Australians become better versions of themselves with their presentations and gratitude journals.

AFL Superstar Dustin Martin has previously accredited The Resilience Project journals to transforming his life in 2017, an incredible season where he polled a record 36 Brownlow votes and helped the Tigers to a premiership, where he won the Norm Smith Medal.
