The Community Vault features local stories about people living in our community and puts a spotlight on topics that may go unnoticed a lot of the time.

Nothing is off limits, and we try to cover all the things that make the Warrnambool and the wider South-west a great place to live.

When there is a big event in town, we try to bring to extra coverage of that too.

A woman has been airlifted to Melbourne', we hear it in the news often, and sadly it means someone isn't very well.

283 patient related callouts HEMS four attended in the last financial year, excluding cancellations.

Liam Fitzgerald got the know the work of our rescue helicopter in this special Community Vault.

THE WARRNAMBOOL SES: The Early Responders.

There is always a certain intrigue with emergency services, for some reason, when there is news of an accident, everyone wants to know about it.

But what's it like to be responsible for the injured? To help ensure they survive what could be a nasty collision.

I spend a night with the Warrnambool SES Unit and attend a road accident training exercise, and it blew me away.

UNSTOPPABLE, Brenton Primmer and his mission to get to the Paralympics in 2020- Part 1 and Part 2.

During this two-part feature, we go back to September 2006, where a 17-year-old Brenton Primmer was involved in a tragic race fall at Warrnambool Racecourse.

Since then, Brenton has recovered, trained horses with his late father Mark, and in this next phase of his life, he is attempting to ride at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2020.

Standing Tall.

The Standing Tall program aims to help keep school students engaged in school, with the help of adult mentors living in the community. The Standing Tall team is headed up by Matty Stewart, and this was filmed before the team walked from Warrnambool to Geelong, and raised over 100 thousand dollars for the program

This inspiring story is about Aaron and Chris Gillin and their family, as they fight to raise funds and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy.

Our story has been shared all over social media, has made it to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, and green shoe laces are being used all over Australia and the world as a result.

THE BOY FROM THE BOOL - A look at where it all started for Marc Leishman.

In the lead-up to the 2017 US Masters, Warrnambool's Marc Leishman notched up his second win on the PGA Tour, and was touted as one of the favourites to be a condender at the event. In this video, we went to the Warrnambool Golf Club to speak his father Paul, former Coach Craig Bonney, and some members about the Warrnambool Champion.
